                            CHAP. XV.

      According to the precept of the Apostle, who wants the Bishop to be irreproachable: This holy personage Byrachil ordered that no Ecclesiastic should claim to be superior to other Bishops and Curates, except for order and good conduct only, making himself feared, honored and respected by his own by the goodness and sincerity of their life, than by the rigor of the commandments.
      He also wanted them to be sober and frugal, eating only twice a day.
      Chastity is strongly recommended to them without it being lawful for them to haunt familiarly other than their wives, mothers and sisters.
      Banquets are forbidden to them, except in very respectable and modest places, and with serious and authoritative persons: Their words are always candied with the honey of holy doctrine, without mixing much with that
