      That if someone is so bold & presumptuous as to do it, trusting in the strength of the house, & support of his friends; Suddenly he is surrounded by the Centurions & Camp Masters of the neighboring places or others, according to what the President orders, & if he does not want to surrender, the cannon is immediately brought in front, in such number as is necessary, taken , his head is cut off, his house razed, & his goods confiscated, so that it is necessary that everyone be wise & restrained, living according to reason & justice, otherwise we don't make it long.

On the form & manner of encampment.

CHAP. IX.
       The entire shape of the camp is square, large & spacious, according to the size or smallness of army. When we come to divide, we draw the quarters. Here is how we proceed.
