project with their cornices & pediments & two niches between the said columns.
       On each of the pediments there is a large reclining figure, one of which represents justice, the other prudence. In the niches there are two others, of strength & of temperance. In the middle of these two pediments is the figure of the King seated, fully armed, bareheaded, sword in hand.
       In the middle of the frontispiece is a large table of black marble, on which are engraved in gilded bronze letters, inscriptions in praise of the King, & the public.
       The interior facade is all of the same order with similar porticos adorned with figures, which have other significance, except that between the pilasters are all arches & long galleries to carry the Courtiers, & those who have business at the palace.
       The second floor is divided into four large halls, all types of ornaments of woodwork & gilded & embossed parcque, with excellent paintings at intervals, representing things both civil and military, which have been done in the past in this Republic so that according to the quality of the Princes who send their Ambassadors,
