The residence of the said Treasurer is a moderately beautiful palace opposite to the one where justice is exercised, surrounded by strong walls with grilled & iron-plated doors & windows. The chest are also all made of wood covered with iron with triple iron bars & padlocks: The rooms for counting are fitted with tables all around bordered by two fingers width slots, where certain leather bags are attached, through which money is poured into the bags. In this palace there is also a very beautiful garden, like that in justice, for the recreation of the Treasurers who are preventing most of the time by counting, giving & receiving without, being unlawful for them to go to the fields during the time of their office. === === === === === === === === === Province are administered by the Treasurers.
