The secretary by the command of his Majesty draws the ballot of a President from the first chest, six Councilors from the second, and Twenty Advocates from the third, all for the capital city & Province of Sangil, provided that they were not from the said Province, & had no affinity & kinship: For in this case their ballots are put back into the chests, & others again drawn: & consecutively they proceed thus for all the other capital cities & provinces:
       The President's clothes are of fine scarlet sarge with wide sleeves amp; a crimson velvet hat; the slippers of the same color; the cassock of purple taffeta; the robes strewn with the Royal arms.
       Those of the Councilors are of violet sarge with narrow sleeves with a cassock of silk camelot[1]; their slippers & hats are of the same color; they wear red hoods on their shoulders strewn with the arms of the King embroidered in gold.
       As for the Advocates, they are dressed in long robes of such colors that please them, except those of the Presidents & Councillors.
       The Presidents always carry with them a Clerk dressed in violet to record all sentences & arrests, & to provide,
