This command received, he summoned the the Dixmilleniers, & these the Milleniers, & these the Centeniers, who at a moments notice sends as many armed soldiers as they are commanded, to where they go themselves in person if necessary, having however taken care not to leave the houses empty, & to the fathers who have only one child, & if someone refuses to obey, he is cashiered from the army, & sent to the galleys, & similarly if they return without leave signed by the General, & by their Captain, they are hanged without any remission.
